YOOOAdrian's 2010 NFL Preview- RB Rankings

• I counted down the quarterbacks yesterday, now it’s time for the rushers to shine.  Here’s what I look for in a running back. 
• Vision- Seeing holes open and close, knowing when to cut inside or bounce it out on the edge, anticipating tacklers and avoid being hit head on.
• Balance- Have a low center of gravity, don’t run upright.  Being able to change speeds, stay on your feet after contact, juking and running behind the pads.
• Pass Catching- Now more than ever before, this is an important trait with the continuing evolution of the spread offense.  In 3rd down situations, can you read the defense, make the catch and move the sticks.  Pass protection is an underrated quality as well.
• Versatility- There’s power backs, and there speed backs, but guys that can do both are special.  These are guys that can go for 6 from anywhere on the field, or punch it in inside the 5-yard line.
