Alvin Abreu (New Hampshire)- Averaged 14.6 ppg for the Wildcats.
Projected Championship Game- 1. Stony Brook (22-8) (13-3) vs 2. Vermont (22-9) (12-4)
Stony Brook is led by three guards; Muhammad El-Amin, Bryan Dougher and Chris Martin. Dallis Joyner is a solid big.
Coming into the season, Marqus Blakely was the 2-time Conference Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. Even with the graduation of the all-time assist leader, Mike Trimboli, Vermont finished 2nd in the America East.
Prediction– Stony Brook, Vermont has the experience, but I really like the trio of guards Stony Brook possesses. Both teams can score, it should be an exciting Title Game.
Projected NCAA Tournament Seed– Stony Brook (15)
